Professional Flying Training Program

Total Cost of Training: US $40,995.00 + $4,200.00 accommodation (6 months) – Effective July 2008

Training will include FAA Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Multi - Engine (ME) rating. Estimated completion time 6-8 months.

The PPL and IR training phases of the training will be conducted on the Cessna C152/C172 or Piper PA-38 and Piper PA-28 aircraft.

The Multi-engine training will be conducted on Piper Seneca PA34 aircraft. The Multi Engine training will include 50 hours of ground training,

Single Engine Experience (PPL/IR/CPL)

Cross Country Experience:
All PPL cross country flights will be greater than 50 NM
All CPL cross country will be greater then 100 NM
One CPL cross country will be greater than 300 nm with 2 full stop landings other than base

Accommodation

There are a number of different options for accommodation available depending on budget and preference. The accommodation we can arrange is on a shared basis Guest House Hotel or Family Home-stay with a maximum 2 persons per room. Hotel accommodation Includes Cooked Breakfast 7 days a week & Light evening meal (except holidays), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Hotel Rooms also offer Fridge and Microwave). Home-stay Includes meals. We can take care of the booking of the room at the Aviation Pacific discounted rate for you however hotel bills must be settled directly between the hotel and the student. For those of you who wish to save money on accommodation a good option is to rent a shared house, many of our students choose this option having been at the school for a month or two after settling in and finding their group of friends amongst their fellow students.

Additional Training Costs

Aircraft upgrade, for students of larger build or stature wishing to upgrade their package to allow them to complete all their training in a 4 seated aircraft please add $3200 to this course price.

Students requiring additional flying training hours or preparation in order to safely pass the FAA Check rides, Ground Examinations or require for some other reason further training to complete the course will be charged for these hours or training at the rate prevailing at that time. Please note although a complete Commercial course can be completed within 6 months we recommend that students budget for between 8 – 9 months course duration.

Payment Process:

The competitive pricing offered in our inclusive packages such as our Professional Package and our Indian DGCA Package is dependent on prompt and full installment payments on or before the due dates.

All payments are to be by Bank Transfer to our nominated account except the first Enrollment, Administration & I20 fee of $250 which may be paid via credit card using our online enrollment form which will speed up the processing of the I20. The I20 will not be processed until we confirm receipt of the enrollment fee.

All course inclusive items paid by the student will be refunded at the posted rates by way of a deduction of the last tuition fee.

Payment Schedule:

1) Packaged School Fees
$250 Enrollment, administration and I20 fee paid either online via our Website or by Bank Transfer
$11,000 Received seven days prior to arrival in the USA
$11,000 Received 30 days after course commencement.
$11,000 Received 60 days after course commencement.
$7,995 Received 90 days after course commencement.
 
2) Accommodation Fees

Accommodation is handled separately from Tuition fees and 6 months hotel or home stay accommodation is $4200 ($700/ month). For students on a loan program Aviation Pacific Inc can, to assist you by invoicing the student for the accommodation portion which will then be paid on behalf of the student directly to their hotel or home stay provider. For students wishing to do this the accommodation must be paid in advance of their arrival date as we are not able to refund tuition fees to be used for accommodation purposes.

Discount for Pre-Paid Courses:

Students who Pre-pay for their entire course upfront in full and in one payment will be entitled to a 1.5% course discount, excluding accommodation. This payment must be received seven days prior to their arrival.

Refund Policy – Inclusive Courses

  1. Students who cancel their enrollment after their I20 has been issued but prior to the seven day period before the commencement of their course or their arrival in the USA (whichever is soonest) will forfeit the Enrollment, Administration & I20 fee of $250 only.
  2. Students who cancel within the seven day period prior to their scheduled arrival but prior to the commencement of flight training, (ground or flight) will be charged a $2000 cancellation fee as well as forfeiting the $250 Enrollment, Administration & I20 fee.
  3. Cancellation after the commencement of their course will result in forfeiting the $250 Enrollment, Administration & I20 Fee, the $2000 cancellation fee as well as a deduction to the value of the total course fee divided by the total none classroom course hours for every hour completed, (example: a total course fee of $41995 divided by the total none classroom course hours of 250 would result in a deduction of any balance on account of $168 / hour flown or part thereof).
  4. Initiation of the payment of a refund terms,
    1. Refunds will be initiated within 21 days of receipt of a written request by the student stating the reason for their required termination.
    2. A mutually agreed upon refund in USD (United States Dollar) value statement must signed by the Student and Aviation Pacific Inc acknowledging final refund amount prior to funds being released for transfer.
    3. Refunds will be made by Bank / Telegraphic transfer to the student’s nominated account.
    4. Refunds will be made in USD (United States Dollar).
    5. All bank charges associated such a refund will be for the students account and will be deducted from the balance due to the student prior to the transfer being effected.
