US VISA PROCEDURE

If you are coming to the USA for any kind of flight training you will need an M-1 student visa. This is really not a difficult process and we’ll be happy to guide you though it.

After completing the course enrolment form and paying your deposit you should schedule an interview for an M-1 visa with your closest US Embassy. Schedule this appointment 2-3 weeks in advance to allow time for your official I-20 form and a letter of acceptance to arrive. You will need to fill in the SEVIS I901 form. This is a online process and will take 5 minutes to complete. Please click here for SEVIS I901. You will need the School Code: (Found on your I20) for this process.

While waiting for the official I-20 visa form and letter of acceptance to come (approx. 14 days) fill in forms DS156, 157 (if age 16-45) and 158. All forms are available below.

Another thing that you will need to do before you commence your training is your TSA Background Check: Click here for TSA Back Ground Check procedure. Once you have registered you will receive email from TSA with your user name and password. Now you can log in and begin to fill in TSA information. Again if you would like we would be glad to guide you through this process.

Please upload or fax passport copy to the TSA and get the finger printing instructions before coming to the USA as this will save time and allow you to commence your training sooner.
